LA Closet Design & VINCE. for Dress for Success

On August 26th 2010, LA Closet Design had a successful clothing drive at designer boutique, VINCE. on Robertson in Los Angeles, CA to benefit the international not-for-profit organization, Dress for Success (DFS).

Since 1997, DFS has been promoting the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support, and career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.  We are so fortunate to work with DFS, as a corporate sponsor and advisory board member. LA Closet Design’s underlying philosophy has always been to serve and empower other women, so this collaboration was a natural fit.
 
In order to join this latest event, guests were asked to bring in a new or gently worn suit, shoes or accessories appropriate for the workplace to donate to DFS.  LA Closet Design conducted a closet accessory demonstration and Benefits provided make up tips, while guests shopped and were treated to champagne, hors d’ oeuvres, Sprinkles cupcakes, and take home gifts. 20% of the evening’s proceeds benefited DFS.
